Sly and Arnold join forces for The Tomb

Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger have announced that their latest venture together will be prison drama The Tomb. After appearing together in The Expendables, the two action legends are to star opposite each other in a third movie that will see Sly’s prison security expert, Ray Breslin, trying to break out of his own unbeatable high-tech prison. Arnold will play a fellow convict who wisely counsels his despairing fellow inmates in their darkest hours.
UK movie magazine Empire recently reported that actor Jim Caviezel has signed on to play the prison warden. The Tomb will be directed by Mikael Hafstrom. Producer Mark Canton said: “I am thrilled to be making The Tomb with two film icons – Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. It is the perfect pairing for this high octane thriller.”

That is definitely bad ass… All I have to say is that I grew up watching Rambo, The Terminator….basically I enjoyed all of thr movies …..specially the action ones …lol and doing a movie 2gther is really a special treat and a wish that to many is becoming a reality ….. Can’t wait to see these two icons in the big screen !!!!!!

I am so excited to see this film. I am such a huge fan of the Rocky and Rambo movies they bring back so many childhood memories. I just recentley watched the Rocky movies on T.V and decided to look up to see if you were going to be doing a movie. I can’t wait to see this movie. You both are such wonderful actors. I also loved the terminator movie and Commando with Arnold. This will be a hit.

I’ll be in that line – It’s great to see Sly on top of his game again! The pairing up of Arnold and Sly is long over due, but worth the wait.
Always anxious and waiting and supportive of Sly’s work….the greatest action movie icon OF ALL TIME!!!! I think the pairing of the two for this film should be fantastic, Arnold being a great action film star himself!

Sly is not loosing any of his appeal as he ages.I dont go to alot of movies but i never miss one of his.I hope he keeps making them for a long time to come.He gives this lowly country girl something to look forward to!

I think it will outdo even epics like Sly’s “Lock Up” Connery’s “The Rock” Cage’s “Con Air” possibly “Shawshank Redemption” because of the action/thriller aspect, and “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” even, when it comes to prison/prisoner escape movies!! Can’t wait to watch it with Sly and his buddy Arnold!!

Stallone rules. Recently watched the ROCKY bio on cable. His movies resonate with pwople of all walks of life and stages in life. Glad to see him sharing screen time with other box office stars. Wish they started joining forces decades ago.
