No Rest for the Wicked

By Webmaster on March 6, 2012 / 1 min read

During an interview at Carmen’s in Hamilton, Ontario at a fundraising evening for the Canadian Diabetes Association, Sly Stallone described his intent to star in a remake of No Rest for the Wicked.

The original was an award-winning film made in Spain. Stallone described it as “hard-core, in the Bad Lieutenant mode”.

The role focuses on a burned-out cop who visits a nightclub and ends up shooting the owner, a bodyguard and a waitress in a fit of rage. Only one witness escapes and in the process of tracking down the witness, he uncovers an Islamist cell planning a terrorist attack.

I read this and instantly checked out the preview for No Rest for the Wicked and this would be a great choice! I have been trying to find a copy of the movie but can't seem to find it. I have had an idea of Sly and Arnold for a couple of years now and I think since they are both a little older and all movies are with some sort of cop story, I penned a little idea that has them in the early 1800s facing off in the beginning but ending up ruling together at the end. Stallone would be a Spanish king and Arnie a King from Russia and they would be bad ass sword fighting machines on horses, rival enemies but in the end they conquer together!
