More Stallone movies due on Blu-ray

By Webmaster on April 30, 2011 / 1 min read

Warner Home Video has announced more Blu-ray releases for August 16, 2011 including Stallone’s action movies Assassins, Cobra, Demolition Man and The Specialist.

We’re glad to see these Stallone classics receiving the high-def Blu-ray treatment at last.

CobraCobra will include a making-of featurette and commentary by director George P. Cosmatos. Demolition Man will contain a commentary by director Marco Brambilla and producer Joel Silver. Warner hasn’t set any special features for the other two yet.

All discs are making their format debut in the United States, but Cobra and Demolition Man have been released on Blu-ray overseas. We’ll provide links to buy these discs on the front page of the site when they appear, so keep an eye out for them. Glad to finally have an opportunity to have these Stallone movies in your Blu-ray collection? Let us know about it!

Great news with the release of more Sly films on blu-ray. Cliffhanger was an example of a film that looks and sounds better on blu-ray. Bring on the new releases.
