Joel Silver’s Dark Castle Entertainment has joined Walter Hill’s upcoming action thriller starring Sylvester Stallone.

The film, based on the graphic novel Bullet to the Head, written by Matz and illustrated by Colin Wilson, is now set to be distributed domestically through Warner Bros. The plot involves a New Orleans hitman, played by Stallone, who joins up with a New York City cop to form an alliance to bring down the killers of their respective partners.

Bullet to the HeadActor Sung Kang, of Fast Five fame, has been cast in a supporting role in the production, which began filming in Louisiana recently. Silver, who also produced the Stallone movies Demolition Man and Assassins, said, “Sylvester Stallone is an iconic action star the world over and I’m thrilled to be working with him again. I look forward to bringing this exciting new story to the screen.”

Love it, Sly needs to keep doing action movies! No one else really knows how to do them anymore - but Sly also strikes the perfect balance. Next I want to see him do another Rambo along the lines of The Shootist. Also, Tango and Cash deserves a sequel! I've got some great ideas for one, and besides if they can make a sequel to TRON 20 + years later, Tango and Cash is due.

So True, I would have loved to see Jane next to Sly in the movie.

Shame on you Silver for replacing Jane. If Jane were african american this would not have happened without a huge uproar in Hollywood. I hope the film does well, good luck.
